Tesla Model 3 now available in Quicksilver in the U.K.
Tesla Model 3 customers in the United Kingdom are now able to order the best-selling all-electric sedan in what could very well be its most aesthetically pleasing paint option available today: Quicksilver. The premium paint option has been added to Tesla U.K.’s Model 3 order page, and it is available for all variants of the vehicle.
The addition of the premium paint option was announced by Tesla U.K. on its official account on social media platform X. With this update, customers in the U.K. are now able to order the reengineered Model 3 in Quicksilver, similar to other European countries.
Quicksilver was one of two premium paint options that were developed in Giga Berlin’s advanced paint shop. Together with Midnight Cherry Red, Quicksilver was described by Tesla as a highly pigmented metallic paint that is designed to change depending on viewing angle and light.

Tesla highlighted this in a promotional email about the premium paint option. “With metallic highlights and dark undertones, Quicksilver is a dynamic, multi-coat paint that offers a liquid metal effect that accentuates the curves of Model 3,” Tesla noted.
Quicksilver is an especially great match for the new Tesla Model 3 Performance, as the vehicle features an extra aggressive front and rear end — both of which will be highlighted by Quicksilver’s depth and dimension.
Quicksilver is currently the most expensive paint option for the Tesla Model 3 in the U.K. As per Tesla U.K.’s order page, Quicksilver, similar to Ultra Red, adds an additional £2,000 to the Model 3’s price. For comparison, other paint options for the reengineered Model 3 in the U.K., such as Deep Blue Metallic, Solid Black, and Stealth Grey, cost an additional £1,300.
