Tesla Cybertruck with turret ‘disabled by Elon Musk,’ Chechen warlord says
Chechen leader and warlord Ramzan Kadyrov has a Tesla Cybertruck with a turret on the back, and in August he thanked CEO Elon Musk for giving it to him.
The only thing is, Musk didn’t gift the all-electric pickup to Kadyrov, and now, he is complaining that the Tesla frontman disabled the Cybertruck in a new message on Telegram.
According to Politico, Kadyrov posted on the site that “Musk behaved badly,” reprimanding him for “remotely disconnecting” the “expensive gift” that he was given in August:
“Elon Musk behaved badly. He gives expensive gifts from the bottom of his heart and then remotely disconnects them. That’s not manly. How could you do that, Elon?”
Shortly after the reports in August circulated that reported Musk gifted the vehicle to Kadyrov, an obvious gaslighting tactic by the leader, Musk completely denied sending him the truck. It seemed pretty obvious that it hadn’t been gifted to Kadyrov.
Tesla Cybertruck falls into hands of Chechen leader — and people are freaking out
Musk thought it was unbelievable and “amazing” that anyone could believe he’d actually send the vehicle to Kadyrov.
However, the Chechen leader revealed after the barbs at Musk for shutting down his machine gun-mounted Cybertruck that two other units had already made their way out to combat on Friday.
He called the Cybertruck “undoubtedly one of the best cars in the world,” giving Musk an open invitation to Russia.
Tesla nor Musk commented on the Cybertruck and whether the company had bricked it.
