Shares of Archer Aviation climbed on Thursday after the aircraft maker announced a partnership with chip maker Nvidia at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Archer stock rose 3.4% on Thursday, closing at $8.71, while the was essentially flat and the gained 0.6%. Archer, which produces electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, or eVTOL, and Nvidia will develop the “next generation of artificial intelligence technologies for aviation using the NVIDIA IGX Thor platform,” the announcement said.
